tomylee: I just downloaded it... and let me tell you, this is not as good as the previous Aion Works, totally different from everything!. But Truth is a really great track, with a killer solo. This is a totally experimental AION record, you can even see Izumi with white hair and two pony tails. It was a time of changing!. This is why AION (1992) and ABSOLUTE (1994) Are two really different records. This is the record between them, and it shows how the band progressed from a power metalish sound to a more commercial Jrock which we can see in ABSOLUTE.

tommylee: Another great AION album.
First pressing came with a cardboard slipcover and AION sticker.
The best songs are Launch Game, Be Afraid and S.S.S
My favourite one is Be Afraid, it has a great instrumental part. And Launch game is probably the best song of the album.

Crows in Black: I have mixed feelings about this album. The production is just really wierd to me, there is almost no low end and way too much high end. It is strange considering the last album "Human Griefman" sounded great, but this one was way too over-produced. This album is also where the band first starts experimenting with different styles other than thrash, including some more classic "heavy" metal and rock tracks, and even a ballad, "Chain and Rain", which is my favorite song on the album, but unfortunatley the only decent ballad they ever wrote. Luna Sea provide backing vocals for many of the songs(they were good friends with the band and surprisingly most bands of the thrash scene), listen for Ryuichi in "Launch Game".

tommylee: This is a really good EP and a must to any AION fan, as it includes the AION remix, which is the same song but it starts with the drums part, and it ends with a nice sinthetized piano. It is probably the best of this EP.
Peace of My Life is also a great song to consider downloading this EP.

Crows in Black: This CD is interesting because AION were in the same situation as X when they put out their "Art of Life" EP to compliment the "Jealousy" CD. After the sucess of AIONISM, the band was pressured to quickly release another album, which is why the album ~AION~ had so few songs compared to their previous albums, and also why it contained a re-make of "Bloody Rain" (re-made as "Bloody", the only AION song completley in English) to help fill up the album. My theory is that the songs from ~St. AION~ were songs that were originally meant for the ~AION~ album, but weren't finished yet. Then they added on a remix of "Piece of My Life" (a non-album single from AIONISM) and a remix of the song ~AION~.

This is really just a theory of mine, but considering that around the same time, X did the exact same thing ("Jealousy" contained lots of instrumental filler tracks, a re-make of an old song, songs later showed up only on singles and EP's) I would say this is a fair guess at what happened.
